I’m Charlotte, a personal stylist, colour analyst, speaker and sustainability advocate, transforming how people dress, and think about fashion. With a PhD in Swedish literature, a Masters in Inclusive Education and 30 years in academia as a published writer and lecturer, I bring a rare depth to style consultancy that centres around diversity, sustainability and authentic self-expression.
Since founding transformEd styling by Charlotte in 2023, I have built a practice around personal style assessments, colour analysis and wardrobe reviews that prioritises planet-friendly choices and developing clients' confidence and self-expression. Through weekly articles, one-to-one consultation and speaking engagements, I challenge the fast-fashion culture and prove sustainable style is accessible to everyone.
transformEd styling by Charlotte sits firmly within the wellbeing space rather than the fashion industry. I don't endorse the throw-away fast-fashion approach and believe that how we dress should be personal - irrespective of gender, age, size and certainly irrespective of the latest catwalk trends. If feeling more contemporary is part of how you want to dress, I can show you how to do so without the cost to the planet.
My work is also deeply personal. Witnessing a transgender family member navigate an often hostile society with dignity inspired me to become a vocal champion for trans rights - particularly through helping clients dress with authenticity and joy. Whilst I work with clients of all genders, this advocacy remains at the heart of my mission: style should empower everyone to show up as themselves.
I have collaborated with some amazing local businesses. If your business supports self-expression, sustainability, gender-diversity, body- and age-positivity and/or boosting self-confidence, let's collaborate!
